Overview
The objective of this project is to design, develop, and implement an advanced big data analytics framework and toolset for real-time epidemic forecasting and management. Leveraging state-of-the-art artificial intelligence (AI) algorithms and comprehensive data analysis techniques, the platform aims to enhance public health decision-making by accurately predicting disease outbreaks and their progression. The key components of the project include:
• Design and Development of AI-Driven Big Data Analytics Platform – A robust framework integrating diverse data sources for real-time analysis and predictive modeling.
• Design and Development of Disease Surveillance Dashboard – An interactive application featuring a Kerala-specific map for real-time visualization and monitoring of disease trends.
• Design and Development of Disease Modeling Application – A tool for simulating and analyzing disease transmission dynamics using AI-powered models.
• Design and Development of Disease Forecasting Application – A predictive analytics system for forecasting disease outbreaks and their potential impact.
• Design and Development of API for Research Access – A dedicated API enabling researchers to access AI models and analytical frameworks for further studies and applications
• Epidemic Forecasting Centre : Deployment of the AI-Driven Big Data Analytics Platform, Disease Surveillance Dashboard, Disease Modelling and Forecasting Application for epidemic management and mitigation and API for Researchers for facilitating research.
